ford 1710 loader specs

First timer! I am looking to purchase a 1983 ford 1710,4wd,loader, I have been able to find all specs on the tractor except the ones on the loader. Load limit?, bucket height? If there is anyone out there that can help, i would appreciate it.

The loader should be similar to the Ford model 7108 on my 1620. If so then the manual I have says that it has a 900# lift capacity, a lift height of 99", the bucket width is 5 feet rated at 10.9 cubit ft. The lift height is like the edge of the bucket in level position from ground level to a level bucket at max height (ie: excluding any roll back/curl on the bucket).

I have loaded tires and with the bucket full of wet top soil the rear gets pretty light. I need to add some rear end weight, like hang my brush hog on it, if I am going to be moving lost of damp dirt or clay.

If the loader is not a ford 7106 or 7108 you would need to find out what brand/model it is to get the spec's for it.

My '85 1710 came with a SMC 84Q model FEL. My local NH dealer said that alot of dealers used the SMC (which is now owned by Alamo) and I emailed Alamo for a owners,service,& parts manual.They sent it via a PDF file. No charge.

Hello to all I know this is a very old post. By any chance do you still have the pdf. On the loader SMC 84Q I just picked up a Ford 1920 with loader and it痴 hard to find any info on it especially a owners manual. Thanks all for your help
