Ford 1710 completely dead dash - any ideas?

Hello,

I have a ford 1710hc and the machine was recently run in the rain. After pulling it into a shed, I shut it down, but may have left the ignition on. The next morning, our guys couldn't start the machine so tried to jump it. They said they had the polarity right. The dash then smoked though and is now completely dead although the battery has since been charged. The fuse box doesn't have anything blown though. Any idea what we should check?

Sounds like they thought they had the jumper cables on right. Sounds like you might have some bigger problems. Might be mechanic time.
