Anyone have experience with replacing rubber mounts/spacers for the step plates; or have suggestions on alternatives to secure the step plates. Will appreciate any thoughts.

I welded a piece of pipe across under them and put the bolt through. That was over 20 years ago. Tractor still runs great.

I kind of specialize in redneck engineering. I used bailing wire for the two rubber pieces below step plate as it is very malleable and long lasting. Then I secured the step plate from to the round pipe attached to the transmission housing using heavy gauge non-barbed fencing wire. I have had that for more than 15 years and "It didn't cost me a dime" like Johnny Cash. Pics are explanatory.

Thank you both for the help. I appreciate your time and information. The wire system is my style of engineering.
