Ford 1700 fuel injection pump question

I have just recently purchased a 1979 Ford 1700 tractor with 1680 hours . It's in good condition but I want to service it before using it this summer for bush hogging etc.
My question for you guys is can the fuel injection pump be serviced ? If so how ? What kind of pump does it have ?

Yes it can be serviced.. It is a Zexel/Diesel Kiki Pes2 pump..
Have you EVER checked or added oil to the pump??
You see the 2- 10mm bolts on the side?? 1 on top of the other..[Phillips screw head].. DONT USE A SCREWDRIVER..
That is your drain & full screws.. you add engine oil at the top breather cap..
To get the pump overhauled it has to come off & your looking at the 500.-600.00 range.

Wow, looking at that picture i see the same problem that my fuel filter bleeder has. The aluminum housing after 38 years strips out the bolt threads and then you are forced with finding something that will work. In this case I see a flat blade screw jammed into the hole. A word from the wise. BE VERY CAREFUL because it will strip out like no tomorrow and leak like a sieve. And I believe that filter housing is in the $300 range (if even available).

I haven't checked it . I have been told that it can be serviced and I've been told that it gets it's lubrication from the crank case and all you have to do is change your engine oil .

Which one is the fuel filter bleeder ?

Whatever ENGINE OIL your putting in the motor..

Filter bleeder is the one with the flat blade screw in it.

And I use whatever engine oil I put into the motor in my Fuel Pump on the 1900 and on the Jinma 2420. Usually, there's too much oil in it (meaning some diesel is getting in there too)
