Hi All- I have a 4WD Ford 1700 that I need to replace the clutch on. This is my first time doing a clutch split on a tractor. I have the I and T manual and followed all the steps and have all the bolts/nuts removed to split the housing. The manual does not address the driveshaft for the 4WD- do I need to disconnect that and if so, where? It definitely seems like it is not coming apart right now... I am a little stuck at the moment as to where to go next. Thanks for any help! And if this should be in a different forum please let me know-

Thanks- I guess that I will just continue to try and get the two halves split- I have everything unbolted but it didn't seem like either half wanted to move away from the other. I'll wait for daylight and see if I just need to adjust the jacks, etc to take tension off and let it split-
