My 3 pt started bleeding down with blade attached with engine off. When I start the engine and raise the blade it pulses up and bleeds down in a continous cycle. When I shut off the engine I hear a clicking noise from the relief valve area as the blade drops. What might cause this?

As of right now, no one has replied, so I think I remember some folks talking about something similar on the Branson site. I believe it had to do with an internal control/limiter/modulator valve- not the hand control/speed knob control valve. Hope this helps.

Ray posted the same in NH/Ford with a few hits. He is about to get it done.

We have a Ford 1520 tractor at work, it did the same thing. I talked to local Ford dealer he estimate $700- $800 to fix it didnt really know what it was exactly till they could check it with gauges. Seems all it was was o rings and a seal on the 3 pt h cylinder. $350 to fix it. I delivered it and picked it up, works as new. V
