1981 20 hp shibaura 2 cylinder diesel. running fine when parked with new antifreeze. sat for three years, one winter got down to 0. went to start, checked oil and clean green antifreeze shot out. what? cracked block?

that's one of those problems where you need to do at least a removal of the head, and if that's not cracked, or the head gasket is not leaking, the real problem needs to be found. don't run it like this, with antifreeze in the oil!.. a 50/50 mix of antifreeze and water, mixed before it is added to the engine, is needed for full freeze protection, maybe water got added afterwards?..

thinking water in oil with out turning engine over shouldn't be head or gasket, right? cracked block would let water in just sitting.
