Recently I have started to have problems with the hydraulic lift on my Ford 1500. The tractor will work fine for about an hour or so and then the hydraulic lift stops working. It will not provide up or down pressure to the front blade or the 3 point hitch. On two different occasions I removed the hydraulic filter, inspected and reinstalled and it started working. There was not really any noticeable debris in the filter so I am not sure why this worked. The third time it stopped working the non-scientific method of removing the filter and re-installing did not work (not surprised). What did work the last time was letting it sit and cool down and then it worked fine again. I have read a few posts about blocked pickup tubes in the diffy case and such but I am at a loss. I have not gone that deep yet. I am looking for help with the next step. Does anyone have any thoughts?

I'm not familiar with your tractor but hydraulics need a vent hole to allow for air to go in and out with reservoir level changes when using eqpt and maybe yours is blocked.
