Hello everyone, I have a 1989 Ford 1320 tractor with a manual transmission, and I’m having a problem. I have more or less the skills of a mechanic, and I bought the tractor’s workshop manual, but I don’t really know where to start.
I have an intermittent hydraulic problem that’s getting worse. I can use the tractor and operate the front loader or rear implements, and it works perfectly fine for several hours. Sometimes, there’s a small hesitation when lifting the loader, but nothing more.
However, as soon as I stop the tractor and restart it, I lose all hydraulics nothing works at the front or back — and this can last for a long time. Sometimes, if I push the throttle all the way up, the hydraulics suddenly come back, though I don’t know if that’s just a coincidence.
I really need some help. I’m not sure if any of you might have an idea of what it could be. The problem is intermittent. I’ve already changed the oil and the filter, but it didn’t solve anything.
Thanks a lot
