Ford 1110 won't start

helping friend with tractor problem = no power to starter. Just replaced water pump in front so it hasn't run in a while. repaired broken black wire = now the heaters work, but no power to starter with ign. sw. to start position. jumping sol.= engine turned over. took starter out and had checked = starter & solenoid are good. could use wiring diagram and connections to ign. sw. for help in troubleshooting - thanks for help !!

Check neutral safety ,pto safety and clutch switches.

Check this link. The wiring harness diagram may have enough info to trouble shoot.
