I have a 4x4 out back that I am trying to figure a price on to sell to a friend. It doesn't get much use since I bought the 2555 JD, and hate to see it go to waste.

how big a finish mower can one use on a 1100.? box blade, brush hog, safely and not tear it up or over load it?
i need a fuel bowl . and cant remember if it had a fuel filter in the bowl. any info or help needed quinn:confused2:

Maybe a 4' for most implements. It might only run a 3' brush mower.

That 1100 will easily run a 4 foot brush mower. Just stick to the lighter versions like King Kutter.

can anyone find parts? i need a fuel bowl and filter for my 1100..am going to try and put it back in good shape. need the wheels and belts for the 930 finish mower deck. quinn

a thanks to all for the quick answer.. we had used the 1100 to make rows for the bailer when the 7700 was elsewhere.it pulled the 6ft rake ok on wheels and the hay wasent much . there is no telling how many hrs were put on it.
a coment that the 1100 hed a week crank /// well it dosent seem it to me .

I have had a Ford 1100 4x4 since 1983. I tried a 4" brush hog but was too heavy. A 4ft finishing mower works well. also use a 5ft rear mount blade for snow. also a 4ft box blade does a good job. I also have a 915 Ford belly mower.

I just purchased a fuel bowl with filter from my dealer last year. No problems getting it.
