Your eyeballs do grow. They grow about 50% larger from newborn to adult.

While closing your eyes while sneezing is a reflex, it's not impossible to sneeze and keep your eyes open. I have a condition where I sneeze 5-6 times in a row several times a day. Many times it's 8. My personal best is 10. I also sneeze multiple times if I eat chocolate, or go out in bright sunlight. I can tell you from personal experience, that I can and have sneezed with my eyes open thousands of times in my life. :)

You really DO know everything!

This is the only one I questioned. It seemed like I ought to be able to keep my eyes open, if I tried. I’ll try to rememberer to prove it for myself.

I may not be as smart as some but one thing I do know; never challenge MossRoad to a trivia contest.

Possible or impossible, when I'm driving down the road and a sneezing fit comes on I do manage to keep my eyes open.

I still haven't found the other 23 states on the 5 dollar bill.

鼎lerical bum shiners ? I learned something right there. Not sure exactly what, but it probably isn稚 good....

What you call butts we call bums, a bum shiner is generally an officious little clerk who rarely rises from his/her chair during the course of his/her career and shines the backside of their pants on the seat.
Not a complimentary term for an unhelpful government official who would rather be doing something else rather than helping you.

My wife and I and our friends used to do a lot of trivia contests. I know near to nothing about sports, literature, classical music or theater. I'm more of science and nature person. Others on our team know other areas really well. Our group can hold our own.... until the beer and jell-o shots kick in!

Heard about not being able to sneeze with your eyes open, so when I feel a sneeze coming on, and I don't want to sneeze, I force my eyes to stay open, and the sneeze goes away. Kind of an odd feeling when it happens, but it works.

All 50 states are listed across the top of the Lincoln Memorial on the back of the $5 bill
Now I know why I can't find them; this isn't true. There are 48 states on the actual memorial, but only 27 are visible on the bill.
The others are on the back side of the building.

You have to turn the bill around to see them all.
