For those of you with the BC MMM

Check the bolts that mount the gearbox to the mmm mounts...four of mine came loose and let the gearbox torque over and bend the opposite mount, and damaged the belt. The other four bolts on the other side were none too tight either. Should be locktite or lockwashers there methinks. Dealer is warrantying it...

Thanks is this on the tractor PTO or the mower itself? I will check it out on my 230 I do not have the mower yet. Which machine do you have the 120,122,225 or 230 I do not think anything larger came with the Mid PTO

sorry, this is one the MMM of a 230.

This is on the mower deck itself, the gearbox that takes the pto shaft and turns the belt pulley.

Okay dont have the mower too dang exspensive right now just got the PTO so I could add when I could afford it . So how did it mow with the MMM on the 230 is it a bich to take off?

its not too bad to take off. Its a little heavy but not too complicated. I find the hardest part to putting it back on is getting the PTO shaft connected back to the tractor. Mows very nicely.

what does the mower cost? have the mid pto but have been using a combination of push mower and flail.

ouch, thought it would be expensive but not THAT expensive, guess i will stick with what im using now
