for all of you power service users out there,a ???

well fellas i have been debating on which power service diesel additive to use, the white or the grey bottle.i like the higher cetane numbers and the algae growth inhibitor of the grey bottle and i like the water inhibiting properties of the white bottle.why can't they just combine the 2 and just have 1 with the best of all worlds?but i have thought of this,if i totally off the mark you fellas please don't hesitate to tell me.could you just add the grey bottle to the storage tank to inhibit the growth of algae and bacteria and add some of the white bottle when you actually put it in the tractor to prohibit water forming?i know that this would put you essentially using twice the strength of power service but it says that you can use it that way,double strength,right on the bottle.would doing it this way harm the engine in any way?just something to think about.

I wouldn't add either one to a storage tank. The issue was just discussed here. In a nutshell, centane enhancers can cause the fuel to deteriorate, especially if the fuel gets warm at all, such as in a storage tank sitting in the sun. If you want your fuel to stay fresh use Sta-Bil or some product like that.

I use the grey bottle year round in my tractor and my truck. I also use the power service diesel lube oil additive in my tractor and truck. No fuel or oil problems yet. I think power service makes some good products and they're priced right.

I can't quantitatively measure any benefit but I feel good about it and I think I am somewhat protected if I get some bad fuel. Cold start-ups seem a little easier since I have been usung the power service diesel lube additive as well.
