on my 1997 Ford New Holland 555E backhoe/loader the parking brake works great but the foot pedal goes all the way down to floor but it stops the tractor very well when it get down there. it seems like maybe there is an adjustment to the brake rod or something because when it gets to that end of pedal travel it is like stopping on a dime it just takes me a bit to get it there as I have arthritis in my knees so I have to use both feet. The owners manual says that there is no adjustment to the foot pedal or maybe it has a power booster and that is not working but I don't find anything saying there is one. any help would be great

I'm only going by the online parts book, but it appears the bleeder(s) are on the axle housings. They would be #7 in this exploded parts view. Official New Holland Construction Equipment Online Parts Store and Parts Finder.

I don't know how easy they are to get to, with the tire on, but I wouldn't wrench on them too hard, or they could twist off. Then for sure, you'll have zero brakes on that side. Then again, they may break loose with little effort.
