Follow up work after mulching? Chemical vegetation application maybe?

Do any of you brush mulching operators do any additional work such as Vegetation Management (VM) using chemicals?

I've been thinking that it might be an additonal servcie to offer a customer after you've cleared the brush and trees off their property. Applying the correct herbicides can prevent and/or reduce the growth rate of the brush growing back. The benefit to the customer is that it would be less expensive than paying to have you or someone else come back in another year or so and cut it all down again.

Any first hand experience or thoughts on this idea?

(And yes, I know I'd need an applicators permit/license)

For us, it was another entire business to get into. We have looked at it several times to complement the landscape business, but really for the investment in time and equipment that we would make to do it "right" we would rather sub that part out.

We do the same with Irrigation work.
