Foldable ROPs

My ROPs on my B 7500 seem to have alot of play in them is this normal or do they need to be adjusted?

Crown, are you talking about play at the hing? If so, the the foldable ROPs on my B2910 does have it...about 1/4 inch play back and forth. A bit anoying, but seems to be normal based on others I have seen. I stuck a wedge of wood in there which seems to help 'till I find a better means to "fix" it.

Had a B come in from another dealer. At the hinge the spacers were never installed and had alot of play. At the mount above the fenders the bolts were tight but not torqued to spec and there was a good amount of play also.
The spacers go on the inside at the hinge and can sometimes be a bit of a pain to get in, I can see why some guys might leave them out. Once the spacers were installed and the bolts torqued the rops was good and tight.
