I know something like this was posted before, but I'll be darned if I can find it. I have a lot of dirt moving coming up over the long weekend and thought I'd do a little maintenance. I've got roughly 20+ hours on my tractor now and thought I'd change all the fluids (I'll do it again at 50 hrs) before the heavy lifting. Well after all was said and done I took her for a ride. I checked all the fluid levels after shutting down and the front axle has a LOT of foam. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif I guess I didn't get the non-foaming 80w-90w gear lube. So, is this a bad thing? Do I have to drain it again and add non-foaming? Do I need to flush it out before new oil? And, how do I tell if I am purchasing foaming or non-foaming? /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Thanks in advance TBN'ers.

Is the oil white and foamy? If so, I'm betting you have some water in there. I'd change the oil.
