Flush Yanmar 3110D hydraulic system

I would like to drain the hydraulic fluid from my Yanmar 3110D and refill it with a better hydraulic fluid for cold weather than what the rebuilder used. How do I go about doing this?

Best to ask in the Yanmar vintage section as this is a Gray Market machine like mine. Japan tractors are a bit different than American Iron machines.

I'd start by asking the rebuilder what he used. Then determine why your choice of fluid is better. If you still want to change the fluid you should get the hydraulic system warm - like you would for changing engine oil so it flows. You then drain the fluid into a receptacle - caution, there will be gallons of the stuff!! Change the hydraulic filter if it has one and refill. Note, on most tractors the transmission and hydraulic system share the same oil. The transmission will generally be what determines the choice of oil.
