Flat tire question

   / Flat tire question #11
My brand new BX threw a bead the first day I was using it. I was doing heavier FEL work and working on a slope.

I was able to reseat it, but I guess I didn't clean the rim well enough. She leaks down, but I just pump her back up. When I get around to it, I will tube the tires. Not a big deal at this point. Takes 5 minutes out of my day when I need to get it done.

John Deere has the same problem sometimes. With the little Carlisle rims and tires, sometimes they just leak. I put a tube in them and never have another problem with them.

Do your tire guy a favor and never use slime. It makes a big mess the next time.
