(Kuboto L3400) (Ford 1900 4WD w/FEL) (Deere X748SE) All bought new
I was using the 748 today and I noticed the left rear tire was flat. I pulled the tire and visually inspected and nothing. I soaped it, nothing. So I filled a bathtub and stuck in in there. Nothing. I wiggled the valve stem and it seems fine.

I was pushing ice chips up on the edge pretty hard, I wonder if I could have broke the bead. Only 8psi back there.

I guess I'll fill it up and see what happens. It is a turf tire.

Anyone ever had this happen?

If they are low already... yeah... they'll come off the bead pretty easily. Sounds like you did everything you should have to check for a leak. If I have a leak that is really hard to find I'll put more air in the tire to make the leak show itself... but it don't seem like that's your problem. Like you said... I'd just put it back on and see what happens.

Yep , same thing happened to me 1 summer back, went to get on the B2400 and left front was flat, could not figure out why was not doing anything major so took it off and brought to the tire place that specializes in tractor and large truck tires, they called me 3 hours latter to pick it up, seems for some reason it just lost the bead, and have not had a problem since. :)

I have a 757 zero turn mower this happens on. I bet if you lay your tire on the side and put some water or soap around your bead and push down with your thumb you will find a leak. If you do just break it down and clean bead and rim and air back up. Hopefully this will fix your problem. good luck!

Thanks for the reply everyone. I think I'll look up the max psi for the tire and use that. I have 8 PSI that came from the dealer. I'm thinking a higher psi would help. I've had the tractor since September and this is the first time this has happened.

If it happens again I'll clean the bead and try a trick my BIL uses. He puts just a few tablespoons of antifreeze (etheylene glycol) into the tire and say the beads won't leak again. Maybe the tires don't rotate fast enough for this to work in a tractor though. I guess it would have to get spread around.

Just put a tube in it, its not worth the hassle to try and get it to hold a bead. Seeming as you'll have to break the bead whatever you do just drop a tube in while you are there.

It might come that. I'll have to see if I could get a tube for that tire. I am going to give it another chance first. I increased the PSI to 10 which is the max. We will see.

I agree on the tube. I had that happening on 3 different tires and finally just put tubes in them all. Not a problem since. Cold weather seems to affect the tires too. Need more air in the tire as it takes up less volume, but tubes will eliminate that.
