Flat Proof Tires

While neat in concept, the tires on some of my tractors are 10-30 years old and either fine or tubed. If these start to go, there's not much you can do about it.

Good catch! Limited life regardless of wear time. ... Probably nominal at ~ 5yrs. And virtually instant if you double their load rating. Something you could just air up a healthy reg tire for.

Hmm, Yes I can see these getting worn out quick with consistent heavy loads

The tweel's been promised for at least 15 years saying "next year...hopefully" or "soon" and having 1 or 2 new vehicles offering it as an option.

Anyone remember the PAX run flats? only available on the honda oddysee (that I know of) for a few years. Special rim and tire required special equipment to work on and they were rather expensive. Most of those vans just swapped out for conventional rims and tires when they were due for replacement.
