the pto keeps kicking out of gear when I try to use it. whats my fix thanks

Need a little better description of the problem. Does the engagement lever feel the same as in the past? Does it kick out of gear with nothing connected, with anything connected, just under heavy load? Have you checked the oil levels? Does the transmission feel the same?

The pto was proably jambed by some implement. There is a snap ring that holds the pto shaft bearing in place. The housing will get damaged and the snap ring will come off. It's a easy fix. Just make sure to "fish" out all the pieces that may be in the alxe housing.

yep.. could be bad snapring.. or just plain bad bearing.. if there is in / out movement on the pto shaft.. it will walk itself out of engagement.. and chey up the sliding splined collar int he process. fix this one sooner than later.
post back if you find any in / out or up/down play in the bearing/carrier.
