I was having problem with 3PH on my 4400. It would bog the engine when in the full up position. It was difficult to position anywhere but full up or down. I found that the roll pin on the feedback arm that runs between the hydraulic control valve and the left side lift arm had sheared. On further inspection I found that the reason it sheared was because the shaft it attaches to and runs into the hydraulic control valve was frozen and would not turn. After some time and much disassembly I was able to get the shaft freed up and the roll pin replaced. The hitch works fine now. If anyone has this problem, this would be a good place to look. It is very difficult to see this problem because everything looks like it is working. I only found it when I removed the cover from the hydraulic control and saw that when the rod moved outside nothing moved inside.
