Been lurking for a while, decided to join today, great forum!
I've had a few JD's over the years but my last tractor was a Gravely 1028. I started having problems with it the past couple of months until I couldn't stand it anymore. Soooo, I went out yesterday and bought the X300 with the 42" deck. All I can say is WOW! What a machine. Compared to my old Deere's (160 and 175) this thing is like mowing with a Cadillac.
