First refill to check fuel consumption. ....Wow...!!!

Just refilled tractor (ls k 5047) for first time since purchase. 1st tank thru averaged 3/4 gallon per hour....
If I had not seen it on the gauge I would not have believed it!!
The tractor was used 70% for Bush hogging. .. half of that was weeds/grass 4ft tall...rest was pasture...2 to 3ft tall.
I ran an 8ft disc for an hour and 5ft tiller for an hour too..
So pretty good average of work. Rest was loader work.

What hp is it? My figures on the JD 4010 (18.5 hp) were 0.46 gph over 660 hours. The JD 1025R seemed a direct hp proration to 0.61 gph. First tankful on the 2025R (about 1 hp more than the 1025) was around 0.75 gph, too much by hp proration. Think the 1st tankful on the 1025 was a tad high, too.

My fuel usage gem is the Isuzu diesel generator. I figured, at around 2 kwh average, that it would consume about 0.2 gph from the fuel charts published on this 12.5 kw unit. That's about what it has run now for near 3 years running. Still not to the 50 hour oil change yet. Oil still almost like new.

The K5047 is a 47HP utility tractor.
I haven't checked fuel consumption, just refill when needed.
