Hello eveyone

First let me start by saying what a great place this is . I have learned so much just hanging out here.

I finally decided on the make of tractor that I am getting it took about a month of research and much thought but finally I decided on a JD 2520.
My ? is this my qoute for the tractor and 62d mower with the fel with 61 ' bucket and tooth bar with BH came to to 18400.00 OTD .
I have read alot of prices on here but not any that had the same stuff as mine. Is this a good price?? Thanks in advance for all replies I am supposed to sign the papers tomorrow.

No way can I see that price being accurate for a 2520, with fel, back hoe and mid mower. That sounds like 2305 pricing with those options.

You better double check and make sure that is not the 2305, if that dealer is giving you that quote for a 2520 loaded like that, order up 20 of them ASAP.

You will be able to make $5000 per machine for selling them. The better rate/pricing going for what you mentioned would be around 23k to 24k. I know because I just bought the same set up. And I really shopped around for the best price.

Check out Mutton Power Equipment | Compact/Utility Tractors

They seem to have the best online advertised prices.

Good luck with the shopping and enjoy the machine.

I paid $21K for my 4115 w/46 hoe a couple of years ago. If that price is correct...:)

I read that post 3 times, and I'm guessing BH must be for bucket hook. JC

Yea, if the "BH" does not mean "backhoe" but something else that is cheap (like a bucket hook :D ) then the quote makes sense and price is reasonable.

At that price tag you are well within ballpark of a good, but not out-of-sight-amazing, deal.

First let me apologize I must have been more tired than I thought last night .
That price is without BH again sorry for the mix up. with BH it will be 5000 more.

Ok . Now that makes a little more since. Yes without a Backhoe.
the price range would be back in the ballpark.

Congrats on new Tractor. you will love it....:)

Well I brought it home today ! First let me say that this is a grass cutting machine. I knew it would do a good job but it actually does a great job.
It took a min to get the wheels adjusted right but after that it was all good.

Has anyone pulled a disk with theirs or any other ground engagement stuff if so how did it do??

Still waiting for the 61 bucket with tooth bar and BH but so far I am happy:)

What do you mean by disk or ground engagement? I've pulled a what I thought was largish tine cultivator to break some ground and a box blade to break ground and some grooming with our 2520. I thought it handled it quite well. I made my own error mounting them and had the 3ph arms rubbing on the tires for a bit and didn't notice right away but the 2520 did the job well.

I went right through hard packed clay. with a 60 inch BB2060 box blade with the tines all the way down. and plowed right through it. ripping roots out the size of your arm. It a beast thats all you can say. its done everything i have thrown at it. Dont be scared....:p
Hook it up and push the peddle on the left..... LOL...:D

Chris...:)

I pulled an old 4.5' disk with mine last year. It did pretty well, but I did have to use 4wd. JC
