L4330 GST
Found this site looking for error code info for my L4330 so I thought I would post up what I experienced this evening and see what the collective wisdom here could tell me.

I was bush hogging out on our hunting land mowing over some willow brush. The tractor simply quit moving while the engine and PTO continued to operate normally.
I have an error code 62 (among others) showing on the dash and the GST light is flashing. All hydraulics work yet front and rear so I don't think I lost oil or oil pressure. The tractor will start right up after I shut it off. Just won't move in forward or reverse.

What's up with that?

Something under the tractor stuck in linkage?

I to want to welcome you to TBN.
Really are for the most part a great bunch of tractor owners here willing to help. Sorry I don't have an answer or suggestion for you but I'm sure the answer will be coming from someone that maybe has experienced the same problem.

Welcome aboard!
Based on your activity just before the problem occured, I'd say murphy2144 has identified the prime suspect.
Since the GST is an electro-hydraulic system, look for any loose wires, too.
Good luck, and let us know what you find out.

I've not no idea. But always glad to get new blood. Remember the cardinal rule: if you don't have pictures, it didn't happen. :)

Doesn't your operator manual have a list of error codes and their meaning near the back? My L5740 does, and the shop manual has more detail and what to do. Unfortunately I am on the road so I can't look it up but I am sure someone else on this site can look up the codes in their workshop manual. It's not likely Kubota changed codes between Grand L 30 and 40 so anyone with a Grand L shop manual will have the answer. My guess is a harness connector since you mention multiple codes.

Forgot I posted this here and thought i should let everyone know what it was in case they have the same thing happen. It was an easy fix. A fairly large stick became wedged between the loader frame and the tractor itself and knocked the main connecter lose that powers up the shift mechanism in the transmission. Plugged it back in and away we went.

Sounds like an opportunity for some brush guard add-ons. Good detective work!
