- Kioti CK3510SE
Hey All, I am new to the forum but have been lurking quite a bit an have already learned an immense amount of information. My wife and I recently bought some property that is all wooded with newish growth (logged 8-9 years ago). I have a contractor cutting a road in and clearing out an area for our house and shop building but I wanted to be able to cut more trails and pasture areas out so it istime to buy my own tractor (been borrowing from family previously).
I initially wanted a CK3510SE but after looking at them and considering the slopes of my land, I decided to go up to the DK4210SE to have a little more heft. I stopped at one dealer and was not happy so I went to another that is local to us and began talking. They set up a package for me with a DK4210SE, 66" loader, WR Long 3rd function, 66" Tomahawk grapple, 6' box blade, a very nice 7X20' 10k trailer, and added linked pedal and armrests for $32,700 out the door.
This is where it gets interesting. They didn't have a DK4210 on the lot and I asked about feeling out a DK one more time before agreeing. They had a DK4710SE that they put me on. I drove it around for about 20 minutes going through all the functions, etc. When I came to park it, the salesman told me that the one I had just driven was a sale that had fallen through as the guy wound up not buying it. It has 9 hours on it and he offered it to me for $500 more including all the above options and adding PTO Cruise and hooks welded on the bucket (not that big of a deal as I was going to do that anyway). It didn't take much thinking to agree.
So, to recap, DK4710SE with 9 hours, loader, grapple, boxblade, trailer, 3rd function, link pedal, and armrests for $33,200. How does the collective think I did?
