So many people that are convinced they know why it was a mistake for me...
Besides the fact that it is a pain to swap over, the BH-92 doesn't have the power I would like. In addition, when I was a kid my grandfather had a backhoe/loader that I used. I was used to spinning around in the seat and using the hoe. Not getting off the tractor, climbing up onto the backhoe and then repeat every time I need to relocate. That part of the mistake is my bad for not doing more research.
The biggest issue for me is the land I am working. I don't have very much flat land. Therefore I can only dig in certain directions. With a mini-ex I have much greater flexibility in how to approach where I'm working and I don't have to climb up and down every time I want to move.
On one particular project where I needed to dig a long trench I finally stuck my wife behind the wheel and let her drive when we needed to move. Made the task finish a lot quicker but tied up 2 people
I'm happy for all who think they made a good purchase. You don't need to justify it to me. I merely pointed out that it was an expensive mistake for me and at my age learning that mistake won't help as I've bought my only tractor. If it helps one person then it is good. That is what these forums are for, providing info so that others can make helpful informed decisions.
