First impliment Build -- a 3 point 2" receiver

I built this to get the car hauler out for easier clean up and repair before selling it. My little CK30 had no issues at all moving it.
I built it out of some scrap I had laying around and only needed to buy the pins. Much easier than using the truck to get it out of the spot it was siting in!!!

Just for comparision sake, I weld 2 inch reciever stock or simply mount a ball on the implements that spend the most time on my tractor. The flail, the counterweight/skidder and my rear blade. That way I don't have to remove an implement to pull my trailer around the yard.

For now I am fortunate enough to be able to borrow, as needed, all of the implements I could ever use....I didn't want to ruin that relationship by welding items to other peoples stuff!!! That is the only reason I built this but I completely understand where you're coming from. It is a pain to change them around.

I'll second that... I also welded one to bucket on the FEL...

stranger, nice build. If you have trailers you will find you use the tractor most of the time to move them around and even to do work on your property. Now that you have the hitch, you can build various "slide in" attachments or implements that work from the reciever tube. I built a smaller boom pole out of 2" tubing that I use more than my regular factory boom poles. Easier to hook up as the hitch is usually on one of my tractors.

I have built a yard rake, sub soiler, middle buster, row lay off plow, carry all, drag harrow and C tine type cultivator that works out of my reciever hitch. Saved me money and works great, simple to hook up. Also built a high tensel fence wire spool that works out of it too. Reworked an old mule drawn hay rake that plugs into the reciever for raking up wheat straw after I bush hog it.

The fun has just begun.

Stranger, good looking job, I also like the limiting rope so the hitch will not go higher than you want it to.
