First experience detatching BH and FEL

I took off the equipment yesterday; I have to say it went smoothly. I got to refer to the owners manual, but really no problems.

I really am impressed wirth the 47 backhoe. The mount is rwally well done. So much attention is given to the quick atatch, but the mount while its on is what really is amazing. The power beyond is done very nicely.

I bought the backhoe without ever seeing one, none of the dealers had any backhoes in stock. I don't think that my dealer has ever sold one for a CUT(but then the've only been there about 80 years...)

I am glad to here that about the BH, I am getting the 48 and have not seen one either.

You will like the 48. I have one for my 4400 and it digs great. Very easy on and off. Just be sure to set it down on solid ground. It is heavy!

My backhoe, a No. 8 model, had been sitting in the dealer's lot for 5 years when I bought it. They too had been in business for decades. They thought maybe they remembered actually selling one some years ago.

As popular as BH attachments are among TBN members, they must generally be slow sellers for most dealerships. The price tag is probably what keeps more from being sold. Too bad, because they've got to be one of the funnest attachments to use.
