Do all you Bass fishermen kiss your dang fish after you catch it??:D :D . I got a friend that when he catches a big one and has a pic taken he just about is kissing it too.:D Just had to laugh no pun intended.

Me I hate fishing but I love the Walleye dad brings to me. Pan fry it in crackers or beer batter fry it, can't beat it.

Nice sized largemouth. Probably one of my favorite eating fish but you can't beat a smallmouth bass for the power and jumping ability that they display when you catch them. I am a catch and release fisherman but like to keep one or two for eating.

Very nice fish, Congratulations!!!

I'm still a year away from stocking bass in my pond, but one day I hope to be kissing a nice one just like that!!!!

I'm going to be stocking bass in my pond as soon as the prices come down later in the summer. I don't think I'll ever get one that big in my little southern Indiana pond, but I can hope! Too small of a pond and too short of a growing season I'm afraid. But, there sure seems to be enough minnows and tadpoles out there now to grow a 47 pound fish!

Stock little ones and let them grow...you'll be surprised how fast it happens!

People actually eat Bass. As kids we use to but not as adults. I know some trouble that almost got out of hand at a marina because 1) a guy said he didn't believe in catch and release and was gonna eat them and 2) a guy wanted live minnows for bass bait. I guess lures are the only thing you are supposed to use these days. I bass fish for play in the lakes around our place, but catch catfish in the river to eat. :D
