Don't know for sure, I bought this tractor with 189 hours.

Changed the hydro fluid with SUDT yesterday. Replaced filter and cleaned screen...which was pretty nasty.

Think there's anything to be concerned with?

ALSO...had a bonehead move with the change. Changed fluid in garage and took tractor to sleeping place. Today was working it pretty good and looked back and saw some fluid in dirt where tractor was nose up. Got off, noticed HST fill plug was not in, luckily it was wedge in the PTO cover. Apparently I forgot to replace plug.

I had run it about 30 minutes, and had to add about 1/2 gallon. Just concerned about contaminants getting in HST fluid.

I don't think I would sweat the contaminants. My money says that the hydraulic fluid would act like a bleeding cut. The pressure would push the contaminants out, not in.

Think there's anything to be concerned with? Looks like it did it's job. I don't think there is anything to be worried about.

I wouldn't be to concerned. Again you have filters to filter contaminants if any got in.

It is expected you could have some metal pieces and other junk in the screen when changing the trans/hydro fluid for the first time. Seems the factory does not get the casing clean before filling and shipping. This is the reason they say to change the fluid after the first 50hrs. If the fluid is dark and burnt smelling then I would have concern. Sounds like the previous owner did not do the initial servicing.

Good find with only 189hrs.

Theey say to change the [B]filter at 50 hours but they do not say to change the fluid at 50 hours.
