After 30 years of cutting and burning 4 cords every winter, I had natural gas installed in my house. 1500’ of pipeline across my property, a new gas furnace and a new gas burning fireplace. I have yet to use the furnace; the fireplace provides a lot of heat. And I haven’t had to clean it yet.
