I hear that parts of kansas, texas, and NC are on fire.. lets take a few moments to think about those epople..

Last I head was 800,000 acres in the panhandle, 11 dead, and I don't remember how many homes and outbuildings burned. A group of our local firefighters have gone up there to help.

This morning on the news they said an entire Panhandle County was being evacuated due to fire danger!! That is tough and these folks all need our prayers.

Also, over 10,000 head of livestock, cows and horses have been killed too. The other night on the news, they showed a rancher that had 35 head of cattle he was trying to nurse back. They were burned badly, some couldn't stand because their hooves were burned off, some were blind from the fire. It was a very sad sight, but he was trying.

Supposed to rain tonight or tomorrow, let's hope it does........
It's really windy right now, from the southwest, supposed to switch around to the north later today, it can't be helping them much right now tho......

What I could gather from the news, was the Texas panhandle and quite a bit of Oklahoma. Wherever its burning, they have my prayers for sure! If they could get a little rain and it would stop blowing, that may do the trick.
