A most curious occurance, especially with a diesel /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Sure hope you get to the bottom of the root cause so we can all have a better heads up. I've run my Deutz 45hp steady for many hours at a time and, although it gets hot, I've had no indication of overheating problems.

I'll more closely inspect regularly based upon your unfortunate mishap. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Wishing you a quick and painless (no expense to you) return to full PT function and enjoyment!

Been away for awhile...Sorry about your misfortune...I'm so glad this was a diesel...with gasoline on board, one might not have been as lucky /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
If I were PT, I'd be very curious about the root cause.

Yeah agreed! I've had 2 "lucky" experiences with gasoline in this life, and that's quite enough thank you. Give me a diesel any day.

Sorry for your trouble. Seems to me that with this incident, PT has an "opportunity". I think we're all interested to see if they take advantage of it or not. Good luck. Keep us posted.
