I just finished cleaning the old crude back shed. 35 years ago I built it with 5 foot side walls. Later I added a folding bolt on section and later added more bolt on sections and patio blocks for a crude floor. I even dug a section in the front out so my tractor and cab would fit or my wheel loader . I even cleaned , sealed , primed and repainted the the roof after all these years. Inside I did some painting and some new insulation in spots. I tore out a few shelves to make more room to park little tractors. My old truck just squeezes in but my new truck will not fit. All these years later I am still enjoying this crude old bolt together shed :cool2: shed 1.jpgshed3.jpgshed 2.jpgshed 5.jpg

Well, WOW!
I would like to hear and see more. I don't know where to start with the questions.

Well the paving stones for the floor, I guess. Do you get expansion and contraction? All I noticed appear to be flat with each other. I had thought of putting in a concrete floor a few squares at the time.

The three wheelbarrow seems to have much more going on for it than average.

I'm sure there is much more to that shed that you have not shared.

I was reluctant when I put in the floating floor. But in over 30 years they have worked great. Our ground freezes and thaws a lot, we get a lot of rain and it drains very well. I also have them in my side driveway and in my back work area. Much nicer than working on dirt. A few of them did crack over the years but they stayed in place. Once I layed them down I swept sand in all the cracks and after a few rains I swept more sand in the cracks. They pretty much locked into place. It was a fairly inexpensive floor. The three wheel wheelbarrow I made three weeks ago and I love it. It also has a push bar. Another fun little project on a wheelbarrow I was going to throw away. Would you believe that old back shed started out as a car port 35 years ago, ha,ha . Another one of my crazy ideas. I never had money to pay someone to work for me and zoning would not let me put anything permanent. So that is what I ended up with . Crude but very useful for over 35 years.

Todays pit cart project I finished the four frame extension pieces and drilled them for the axles. Very pleased how it all went together. The plasma cutter will sit 8'' higher than where it is sitting in this photo. I built the middle shelf, bent it and drilled it today but did not get it mounted. Tomorrow I will also work on the rear fenders and rear lights . duel wheels mounted.jpg
