finish mower size question for 2320

Hi-I have a 2320 and use a 4' Frontier rear mount weed mower that weighs about 520#. I'd like to use a finish mower at times and according to the literature when I bought it I was limited to a 48" size. I can get a used Woods RM59 that weighs about 450# or less and a new Bush Hog 60" weighs about 540#. Is the limiting factor for mower size the width, the weight, or what?? I don't want to ruin the transmission, the 4' weed mower works ok, but I have many acres of grass that I'd like to do at a bit more rapid pace than 48". Thanks in advance for help. Bill

Suspect it is the weight.. the size is prolly a limit on the Deere attachments suggested (like "it can do" not "can't go over").

i have pulled a 60 in. woods finish mower with a 21 hp MF for many years.

don t pick up the mower -let the gauge wheels do their work.

I just purchased a 72 inch Agmate from Agri Supply to pull behind my 24 hp 855 and it pulls it fine. I am very happy with the mower.
