I think so too. As we all know they're built like a tank. Hopefully somebody has been thinking about getting one and the price will make it viable....especially if they need to have picked up and shipped.

You could slap a 22HP Harbor Freight vertical shaft engine on it, hook up an offset tow bar, and double your finish cut width....

I’ve thought about that since I don’t use the Howse mower anymore. It would be a bigger job than just slapping a motor on since you would have to re work the belts to accommodate the faster drive speed. And I don’t have any suitable areas to use such a contraption. I’ve also thought about putting it on my front deck Kubota since it’s rear discharge, but it’s too big to ever work.
