Finding parts for PTO finish mower

I've got a Phoenix (Sicma) 84" finish mower that is now 8 years old. The wheel bushings (for height adj) are wearing out. Busted one today and the wheel fell off.

Searched the net, but really tough to find anyplace domestically with parts.
Anybody want to share where you get your parts? I don't have a local dealer so online is about my only answer.

I needed shifter bushings for my John Deere. No Longer Available. I took measurements and made some new bushings from some Delrin. Take some pictures and measurements of good parts and have someone make you some new parts?

Stock bushings are so numerous, all you need are the dimensions of yours. Even the hardware store in my small town carries a pretty good selection.

Sometimes, you just need to do a little "farmer engineering".

The problem with these particular bushings, is that there is a flange on the top of the bushing (like a built in washer) that is larger than the rest of the bushing. It acts as a stop so the bushing doesn't go in too far to the axle housing.

Good deal. I bet it cost far less than having a machine shop make one if you don't have a lathe.

Try places like MCMASTER-CARR in future... No it's not a "tractor" supplier, but a industrial supplier and they have more industrial standard parts than you can imagine.... It's sort of the promise land for parts, and if they don't have it, it probably does not exist.....

Ha! Was just going to suggest McMaster. Even if you don't know what it is you need, I often start there and learn a lot.
