Finally ordered one

After much researching and test driving I ordered a new JD2305 with loader and backhoe today. Hope to have it by the end of the week. Thanks for all the great information on this site.

Just a question for you, do you realize that the 2011 model year for the 2305 has been restyled and will also have tilt wheel and a few other goodies? Here is the link to this conversation. I have a 2320 and I wouldn't trade it for the world, I wish I had a backhoe!

Yes I have been following that thread. I did not want to wait for them to work out the first year bugs of a new model.

Well it arrived. Mounted a Bro-Tek thumb and skid plate now it is ready to work. I think I am going to really like the Backhoe.

I didn't know Bro-Tek made skids for the 2305.

Yes they do, quality made. 15 min install, protects the transmission filter and fan. I don't have a mid mower but I have heard of them not working them. After initial install probably only 2 or 3 min on and off.

Thanks, I will contact Richard about them. We keep the MMM on except during the winter months.

Good luck with the tractor, the add ons look to be wise add ons especially the skid plate.

Looks like a nice setup.

I miss my 2305 that I bought back in 2005

It moved snow nicely here when the banks had to be pushed back.

I never had any other attachments for it though.
