Congratulations on your new tractor! I have a Kubota L3430 HSTC with cab and FEL. It's great! For the radio I did as you stated except that I purchased the "radio mounting kit" for $128.00 or thereabouts from my dealer. The antenna and fitted speakers were worth the money.
