Cummins is the only reason to buy a Dodge huh? Well I sure wouldn't want that Cummins trying to get power through the Torque-shift Ford transmission already popping up all over the internet as problematic, or to have the engine in that butt ugly front end that Ford calls style, or have to get into that square interior design of new Fords that still seem to be huge in the front but have cramped rear seats.
No Thanks! I'll take the Cummins attached to a better 6-speed transmission that has proven itself stout for over 4 years and fed to stronger Dana axles all covered by a longer 5yr/100,000 mile warranty. Plus that powertrain is wrapped in a much better looking truck that constantly is praised as the best interior in layout and materials compared to the other trucks, available with more cab options and NO DEF REQUIRED. Lastly, since some people think most power or highest towing capacity mean it's the best truck then don't forget the RAM has 800lb.ft of torque and the highest tow capacity of any 1-ton truck.
All that for less money than the Ford. The Cummins is not the only reason I would take the RAM but it sure does help.
