Seeing your pictures brought back memories of my Massey Ferguson and removing a driveway from ten years ago.

Found out why they are called "steering brakes" :D Notice the front wheels are off the ground.

Decided to make this piece smaller, raised the forks and backed up.

Smaller pieces, easier to haul.

Cool pictures - I would love to pickup a classic MF some day.

Thanx! Yeah, I typically always work with ballast ... I just happened to be driving by with the rock bucket and figured I'd spend a few minutes digging. I really don't have time for this project right now so I probably shouldn't have started it yet lol

LOL......Same problem I have, so many projects, so little time. It's really hard not to start something isn't it?
Looking good TSO, I'm glad you like your loader, I am a little disappointed with the LS loader (seems a little weak and the height issue).

Enjoyed the pictures, my brother just finished moving some concrete slabs with our MF 375 using the FEL, my father in law bought it new in the 80's. Even with newer, bigger and smaller machines, sometimes it is just the ticket.

Well, we have a total of eleven on three farms, but I use our Kubota L5740 the most followed by the M8540HDC for the heavier stuff.

I would imagine that the 5740 loader is probably pretty close to this one right?

It might be, just doesn't "seem" that strong; looked like a pretty heavy piece of concrete. Of course before I bought the GL, I was operating our M8540 almost exclusively along with a MF375 with pin on bucket.

Yeah, I would imagine that after using an industrial sized loader like that, going back to anything in the CUT class would feel underpowered.

Looks like the Massey is being used well!
