Finally got to play wirth my rake

Well I finally got to play with my landscape rake with the new guage wheels attached. they sure make the rake much easier to control although there is still a learning curve to overcome. I was able to smooth out my drivway nicely.
All in All, I feel the $240 for the wheels was well worth it and I am sure that as I get more proficiant with the rake I will appreciate the wheels even more.

Indeed a rake is money well spent if you have a long driveway,and by the looks Mark you sure do...sure beats useing iron hand rake.

Cleaning up the woods a rake comes in handy,also preping the flower. /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

I second that about cleaning up the woods with a landscape rake. I have lots of pines on my property and after raking the needles, its probably the first time the ground has seen sunlight since those trees grew.

great job, what size rake do you have, 6 foot? Do you think this would work well on leaves?

Yes the rake is a Landpride 6'. As far as it working on leaves, I would have no clue. I have only owned the rake for maybe a month and have only used it twice.
Gator says they work well on pine needles, so maybe leaf raking is possible.

I think a landscape rake equates better to a garden rake than a leaf rake. It might work for leaves, but will probably tear up your grass more than you might want /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
