Finally got rid of the cardboard box that came with my BX24

I've had my 24 for over a year, and yesterday finally opened the 3-pt hitch box just to try it out. The directions were actually easy to follow and now I'm dying to buy/rent/use any 3 pt attachment. The only thing that I was confused with was the top link. I assume that the metal plate thing is used just to lock the link up when not in use and you slide up to "unlock" from the pins to let the link float when in use?
