Grandson reports they are working the NW corner of Kentucky Lake. Hauling mostly brush now. Once they've got most of it cleared they'll start hauling C&D. That's the mixed up mess of storm debris, house parts, clothing, furniture, lawn ornaments, garage stuff, the list is endless....
The brush is all being burned rather than chipped. The burn/dump site is at the Marshall County Landfill. About 10 miles from where they are working.
He has sent me pics of other cleanups. The burn/dump site becomes massive. Covering hundred acres or more depending on severity of storm. Compared to a hurricane this will be small. But I don't say that to minimize the severity of what's going on there.
