finally got my 850 home

I picked it up yesterday afternoon.

The computer monitor where I'm at makes everything look like pictures were taken at 4AM, no flash used. I can't see enough to really tell, but SHADOW I'm seeing looks nice and straight. That's always a good sign.

If the weather holds, I'm dragging the Jubilee home this coming weekend. (To where it will sit for another 5 years.....)

I'm not sure why the image darkened soo much. it was taken with good light and a flash. in fact my other pics weren't useable due to flash glares from the license tag on the trailer .. etc. When i re-sized the pic.. it lost alot of gama....

I'll post more later.

Tin is 95% straight. Has a missing grill.. but the prev owner put some expanded metal in.

The image quality looks OK on my monitor and the tractor looks great! Is that a shine to the paint? Time for a tractor family picture, isn't it?

Paint is pretty good.. just needs some wax and buffing.

Can't tell from the photo if it's diesel or gas.

Judging from the Blue Book, it looks like a $3500-4000 investment.

Wish there were a few nice looking tractors like this one in my neck of the woods. All I find for sale around here are tractors that have been used and abused.

That up and down 5 sp is the best transmission I've ever used.3rd and reverse, you can't beat them. After using your 661 w/loader this one is going to be a horse. The old 800 series had more HP per pound than any tractor I've ever used. Yours looks pretty good, but the rear tires won't last long, you'll find they spin a lot, since the engine won't stall. At first i thought it was overspray too ( tire spray, painted wires, belts and hoses are a real turn off when i go look at a tractor ). i was glad to find that it is limerock powder. The rural road where this tractor lived is a limerock road ( yep.. I live int he deep south.. not all our roads are black yet... ).

Also.. no painted hoses wires, or belts.

172ci gas, and the blue book is pretty much right on target.
