Yep, there's a new 2007 CK30 HST w/R4's and KL130 in my yard. $14,700 and 0% for 24 months (prices have gone up on 2008's) tipped me over the edge. Well, that and I sold our horse trailer for 14,900 last week :)

As you can see, I've been floating around here since 2003. Took a while for it to be the 'right' decision. I sold my IH 450D back in '98, and I've been without a tractor of my own since then. It feels gooooood.

A Caroni tm1900b flail mower, and possibly a 3pt log splitter & rear remotes are in my near future...

Turns out the camera didn't have the flash card it in, so the pics will have to wait until tomorrow.

A big Thanks to all the TBNers who've made this such a great resource over the years.

Welcome to the Pack!

I know you will be very happy with that tractor. Looking forward to some pictures.

Congratulations. Must feel good to get back on a tractor. What kinds of projects do you have in mind?

I think you'll love the Caroni and CK30 match up when you get around to it. They should work together perfectly.

Photos here, do me the favor of ignoring that the straps were against the bucket cutting edge, just a quick staged picture :) : Coulter Family Gallery :: Tractor

Dealer was Aeschlimans.

RE: projects - immediately I have a bunch of re-grading to do around the front of my barn to solve some water issues, logs to skid and lift for easy cutting, a bunch of landscaping/retaining wall projects, and a bunch of trenching which I'll probably rent a ditch witch, but the tractor will be handy for filling everything back in. It'll be my snow removal tool in the winter (the 1975 21" toro blower can finally retire to just minor cleanup duty!).

I haven't decided if I'll go with a standalone log splitter or a 3-pt one. And then there's the flail mower, I'll probably pull the trigger on that soon.

I've been borrowing a 40hp John Deere periodically, but it will sure be nice to have my own machine again.

Yep, that was the Sam's club discount. The dealer gets a 5% kickback from Sam's, allowing them to sell it at a discount to the sam's member. They are one of two dealers in the country in a pilot program with Sam's.

Yeah, they treated me fine. They welded the hooks on for me for $95, and I talked them into delivering it to me (25 miles). The 0% through agricredit went pretty smoothly also.

Congrats!

I too just took delivery of a CK30HST. I opted for the Ag's because of hilly terrain (Plus I have a new set of turfs sitting in the garage that will fit) and added the toothbar and rear remotes.

Ifn' you're going to be doing much digging (light) you might want to look into the toothbar. It also seems to help with carrying items longer than the bucket is wide.

Great pics by the way. Have fun.

The log splitter is highly recommended from my point of view. I have one and don't know how I split wood without it.
